Hey friend, let’s talk about something real for a sec. 💖 Ever had those moments when you think about doing an empowerment photo shoot, and BAM! Fear of judgment hits you like a ton of bricks? Been there, done that! 📸✨ Check out my CRAVE photo below. I was so afraid of what my photographer would think, what my wife would think, what my team would think, what my clients would think, and worst of all – what would I think?! In fact, I almost canceled my session altogether.

Here’s the thing – it’s totally cool to feel a bit jittery about it. Society can throw some heavy expectations our way, and it’s like, “Wait, can I really do this?” But guess what? You absolutely can, and here’s how to confront that fear head-on:

  1. Embrace Your Uniqueness: We’re all different, and that’s the beauty of it. Your story, your body, your journey – they’re uniquely yours. Embracing that uniqueness is the first step to showing the world your authentic self. Judgments be darned!
  2. Trust Your Photographer: As your photographer, I work hard to understand your vision and what makes you feel comfortable and create an experience that is all about celebrating YOU. When you trust the person behind the lens, it’s a game-changer in easing those judgment fears.

  3. Flip the Script: Instead of worrying about what others might think, focus on how this shoot makes YOU feel. It’s about reclaiming your narrative and embracing your body in all its glory. Who cares what the peanut gallery thinks?
  4. Surround Yourself with Positivity: Seek support from those who uplift and cheer you on. Share your thoughts with friends or family who get that this is about self-love, empowerment, and not conforming to anyone else’s standards. Positive vibes only!

  5. Baby Steps: If you’re not ready to shout your photo shoot plans from the rooftops, that’s totally fine. Take baby steps. Share with those you trust, and let the confidence grow organically.

Remember, confronting fear is a process, not a sprint. And doing a CRAVE Session? It’s about you, your journey, and celebrating the skin you’re in. So, to anyone out there battling those judgment jitters – you got this! 💪💕
